Flood Bucket Collection Point:  West Jefferson UMC is currently serving as a collection site for Ashe County.  Other locations will be shared soon. For now, assembling flood buckets, as described in the link, will be the most effective way to assist with cleanup efforts that will be underway soon.

Event Postponed:  The event scheduled for tomorrow afternoon at Bethany UMC with Laceye Warner has been postponed until further notice, as all efforts are now focused on emergency response.

Prayer Request:  Prayers for the communities affected by flooding, especially Valle Crucis UMC, FaithBridge offices and food pantry, and several parsonages experiencing basement flooding. The Appalachian District is still receiving damage reports as teams are able to access sites.
