Connections in Christ is a monthly gathering primarily for adults 55 and older, though all interested adults are welcome to attend. The group meets on the fourth Monday of each month from 10 AM to 11:30 AM in Memorial Hall at Broad Street United Methodist Church. Attendees can enjoy free light refreshments while participating in engaging programs, building friendships, and strengthening connections among churches. Broad Street UMC, Troutman First UMC, and Wesley Memorial UMC all take part in this ministry, which offers 11 programs each year, with a break in December. The gatherings feature a variety of speakers, musicians, and group activities.
