Confirmation Begins This Sunday!

We are excited to kick off our Confirmation journey this Sunday at 5:00–6:30 p.m.! Over the next few months, our three confirmands—Kiki BodeAdeleye, Christopher Harmon, and Devon Harmon—will explore their faith, learn more about the United Methodist Church, and reflect on their place in God’s kingdom.

Our Confirmation journey began with an incredible weekend at Confirmation Camp (Feb. 28–March 2), where we spent time in worship, small group discussions, and hands-on activities like making our own stoles. One of the central themes of the weekend was identity—where we see ourselves in God’s story and how God is shaping us.

Now, as we move into our six-week class series, we’ll continue to dive deeper into what it means to be a follower of Christ. Our class dates are:

 April 20
 April 27
 May 4
 May 11
 May 18

Each session, held during our regular youth group time (5:00–6:30 p.m.), will cover important topics like understanding God, the foundations of our faith, and what it means to be part of the Church. This is an exciting time of growth and discovery, not just for our confirmands but for our whole church family as we support them in this journey.

Please keep Kiki, Christopher, and Devon in your prayers as they take this important step in their faith! We look forward to celebrating with them in the weeks to come.
