Introducing Humpday Hangout: Wednesday Night Fellowship at Broad Street
After a fun summer enjoying great meals provided by different groups in the church (thank you to all who participated!), the Nurture Committee is excited about the new plan for Wednesday night fellowship moving forward: Humpday Hangout! Each week at 5:30 PMwe will share a meal together before dispersing at 6 PM to participate in programs for all ages. The children’s council will lead kids in friendship- and faith-building, while adults can dismiss for handbells or stay for the following:
September 4th: Spiritual Gift Assessment & Discussion by Pastor Tracy
September 11th: Enneagram Presentation by Rev. Carrilea Hall
September 18th: Small Groups to Begin (more info to come!)
For the rest of 2024, the Nurture Committee will prepare and serve meals every first Wednesday. All other weeks will be catered by Greenbriar Grill, with desserts provided by different groups in the church. We ask that you pay $7 for each adult, $5 per child and $25 max for families. If you are able, please consider giving more to help pay the way for people who cannot. All money received will go towards the catering cost. Click here to RSVP online. We hope to see you there!
